i’m writing a quick note to share a seasonal offer of support in feeling for our ancestors, land and plants in these times.
As you regular readers well know, I deeply believe that connecting to ancestral culture before & beyond whiteness is essential to building a just world. This is a necessary thread, alongside real systems change. And its just as important now as it ever was, as many of us are struggling to keep showing up under the increasing pressure. it is a lot right now. it is so much. and whiteness still needs tending if we are ever to truly win. how much more resilient & powerful would our movements be, if we were truly allied with the land in spirit and in practice?
Leaning into our lineages, reconnecting with culture, land, plants, spirit – it is the foundational recovery that all else rests upon. and it can be a huge boon in these times of intense political pressure, as we are working to challenge systemic oppression and state violence. Reweaving cultural connection is nourishment for this community work; it is what we have been starving for, for so long. It is resource, it is healing, it is remembering; and it supports our agency in choosing what legacies we will continue to perpetuate and those we will say no to with our whole bodies.
Let your ancestors, the land, plants, be at your side in the work of your life, whatever it is; let these remembered relationships help you keep showing up.
To that end, I’m offer a seasonal flash sale bundle of 1:1 support sessions for folks wanting some containment, encourage and logistical support in doing the work of ancestral reconnection in these conditions. After our three sessions together, participants can expect to leave feeling empowered and supported, with lots of resources and next steps to continue this work on their own. (and of course you will also be welcome to book further sessions for ongoing support.)
I hope this offering can be in service to the broader work of collective liberation, and help us as settler diasporic communities tend our wounds, heal our lineages and show up for work being asked of us in these times.

ROOTING IN LINEAGE BUNDLE
Spring Equinox Flash sale, now through March 25th!
The Rooting in Lineage bundle is a three session package of 1:1 mentorship for folks seeking to begin or deepen their connection to ancestral culture, unravel whiteness and remember their deep interdependence with land and plants.
In these sessions, we will talk about where you are at in your process of ancestral connection, what aspects excite you, and what you long for. We will talk resources for learning, practices & rituals to engage with, and make a plan together for how this process can support your particular work in the world. Expect emotional encouragement & logistical support, invitations for personal learning, book suggestions, and more. Bring your questions, your experiences, your willingness to be self reflective; we are in this together.
We will meet three times for three 1:1 sessions (approx 60 minutes in length) over Zoom between March – May 2026. This Spring Equinox bundle is on sale for $333, a discount from my usual 1:1 mentorship rate of $200/hour.
This offering is specifically for european descended settlers living on n america or other outposts of empire. This is for organizers, artists, herbalists, healing practitioners, school teachers, and anyone seeking to reweave severed cultural connection. All vocations welcome. SPRING COMMUNITY SPACES
Sacred Smoke Traditions of the Celtic Isles - online infoshare. April 15, 2026, 6-8:30pm ET / 3-5:30pm PT. Recorded! $44-66 sliding scale. The seasonal shift toward spring was(is) a time that our ancestors of Scottish, Welsh and Irish descent burned herbs with great intention. In this session, we will delve into smoke medicine of our ancestral lineage, get to know the plants our peoples turned to, and consider how we might incorporate these practices into our lives.
THE PLANTS OF OUR PEOPLE: the next cohort of TPoP will run this warm season, beginning in May. In TPoP we reweave cultural and ancestral herbalisms through research and creative practice, in service to unsettling traditional western herbalism and remembering our lineages before whiteness. Over the course of four+ months, you will be supported in your own project exploring these themes, with lots of guidance and community accountability. Its nerdy, creative, fun and so so meaningful. Be a part of the work of reweaving anticolonial herbalisms! Discounted early registration will open for waitlist folks very soon!!
Taking our Herbal T Zine: Ember and I are excited to share the community zine from our first year of Taking our Herbal T with community soon, so keep an eye out for that. It will be free as a digital download, as well as available printed as a hard copy zine for a sliding scale price. Its such a gift to be a part of this important collective work.
